Just in time for Earth Day, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced yesterday the completion of Grand Central Terminal’s $25 million energy efficiency upgrade project. The overhaul, a collaborative effort between NYC’s Metropolitan Transit Authority and the New York Power Authority, is the MTA‘s largest energy efficiency project ever and is expected to realize a savings of $2.5 million per year in energy costs at the busy transportation hub.
