New York-based BKSK Architects is aiming high with their latest project, The Jefferson. The 115,000-square-foot, multi-family complex located on the East Village site of a former vaudeville theater by the same name is on track to earn LEED Gold certification for its many sustainable features. Particularly impressive is the building’s water management scheme, which is poised to collect 100% of the available LEED stormwater credits, a rare achievement for an urban building.
