Last month, travelers leaving out of JetBlue’s Terminal 5 at JFK airport were treated to the opportunity to shop for farm-fresh fruits and veggies right before their flights. The airline partnered with GrowNYC to bring the first-ever Greenmarket to T5 for passengers to stock up on local goodies before making their way out of the New York area. The market included many of the same vendors you might find at your neighborhood farmers market, as well as a bike-powered smoothie station, a compost pile, a harvest-themed photo booth and special Greenmarket Wheat Beer and Hard Cider.
